Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs, providing detailed product information and demonstrations when appropriate
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure shelves are well-organized and inviting
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, highlighting their benefits and usage instructions
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales, including age verification and proper documentation
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette, fostering positive relationships and repeat business
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a restaurant or similar environment, with familiarity in cashiering and basic retail math skills
