Production Technician
Job Description
The Packaging Team works on the packaging assembly line of Cleanline Management. This job includes, but not limited to: weighing out cannabis products, assembling boxes or sleeves, packing products into cases, applying labels/stickers, filling carts and counting inventory with accuracy and accountability. This position will also include recording individual KPIs, completing Batch records and keeping all working areas cleaned and maintained on a daily basis.
This position requires strict attention to detail, ability to accurately count items and persistence of doing repetitive tasks with both speed and high accuracy. Keeping a clean station and documentation of tasks is imperative.
Requirements for performing this position include wearing scrubs, mask, hair covering and other required P.P.E. Employees must review and understand all cleaning procedures, safety protocols and SKU specs, prior to working on a work order. Also to know and complete training on utilization of Batch Records and Work Orders, for record upkeep.
- Follow all SOP’s written for each process, policy and task asked to perform. See SOP’s Folder in Drive, shared with all.
- Check the production board for a daily task list/take direction from the Production Lead of that day’s tasks.
- Document all requested data from touches, completed units/tasks, inventory or maintenance tasks performed.
- Complete all work orders as directed following all packaging, weighing and sticker requirements. Speak up for any anomalies or errors encountered along the way.
- Maintain appropriate production speed to ensure goals are met on time. Manage discussions or other distractions that may slow pace to a minimum.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist in general cleanliness of the facility.
- Communicate with lead any supply needs or other requests.
- Check in with the lead if you need direction for the next task to complete.
