ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
LoneStar Fasteners is looking for the right, qualified individuals to join our team!! The Purpose of the Subcontract Coordinator role to coordinate the processes of subcontracted work to meet the customer’s need. Additionally offering support to the Shipping team and logistical scheduling.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
- Report injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
- Perform physical and/or administrative tasks involved in all warehouse and distribution activities
- Ensures that product quality standards and requirements are communicated and maintained with the approved subcontract vendor document.
- Consolidate and issue Purchase Orders for subcontract work to preferred approved vendor.
- Ensure costs are issued on the Purchase Order and subsequently received into work orders. Work with Accounts Payable to resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain organization of all subcontracts and receiving paperwork; coordinates incoming paperwork from deliveries.
- Work with Supply Chain Manager to develop and strengthen partnerships with key process Vendors.
- Participate in reoccurring planning meetings to review department performance and set goals to support business direction.
- Report area metrics to Manager and business as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 year’s general administration experience in a similar field. Prefer experience in administering labor-only work.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word Experience in truck scheduling and dispatch

- Associate’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Confident, quick decision-making abilities.
- Positive and energetic personality must be highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Strong business acumen and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
