About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that guests at Seasons Restaurant have a positive dining experience.
Schedule: 8/Pay, 3:30p-8:00p (Restaurant Server) 4:30p-7:00pm (Northview as Dietary Aide)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival; seat guests.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Makes appropriate meal suggestions, and answers questions regarding food preparation.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently; communicates specific customer needs to the Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Line Cooks.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Presents bill to guests at the end of the meal and processes payment using the Point-of-Sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist with bussing tables to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Experience in food service or fine dining environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation processes is helpful.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
