Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned finance leader specifically from hospitality responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial controls, consolidation, and reporting across multiple legal entities and business units. This role designs and enforces scalable accounting processes, drives month-end and year-end close efficiency, ensures regulatory and tax compliance, partners with operations and commercial leaders, and leads a distributed accounting team and external advisors.
Financial Reporting & Close
- Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across multiple entities, ensuring timely, accurate consolidated financial statements and management packs.
- Oversee GAAP/IFRS policy application, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation adjustments.
- Produce board-level and executive reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, and variance analysis.
Multi-Entity & Treasury Coordination
- Manage intercompany accounting frameworks, transfer pricing basics for internal reporting, and reconciliations.
- Partner with Treasury to optimize cash management, forecasting, and entity-level liquidity.
- Ensure appropriate legal entity structures support reporting, tax, and operational needs.
Compliance, Tax & Audit
- Coordinate external and internal audits; liaise with auditors and tax advisors to resolve issues and deliver audit-ready schedules.
- Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements, tax provisions, and regulatory reporting in relevant jurisdictions.
- Oversee accurate tax accounting and effective collaboration with tax team/advisors.
Systems, Transformation & Automation
- Drive ERP, consolidation tool, and accounting automation initiatives to improve accuracy and reduce close cycle time.
- Evaluate and deploy financial systems, lead integrations for acquisitions or new entities, and promote best-practice accounting technology.
