Qualified candidates for this position must have a minimum of 5 years of
experience in the Audio Video Industry. The following are the primary
responsibilities, qualifications, and skills for the Lead position.
Scope
of Responsibilities:
The
Senior Lead reports to the Residential Project Manager and oversees all field
commissioning, training, and all aspects of the installation responsibilities
associated with Logic Integration’s work. The Senior Lead will oversee and
coordinate with other trades, including subcontractors when applicable, to
ensure proper delivery of the conduit systems, structural systems, programming,
security, electrical provisions, cable paths, and any other trade’s
work that is critical to the delivery of our work. The Senior Lead is
responsible for supervising technicians on site, insuring the project is
completed according to Scope, managing in the field change orders, and also
participates in the installation process. The Senior Lead is responsible for
the quality of the work that occurs on a project.
Typical Duties:
The following are
typical duties expected of the Senior Lead:
· Assist with time tracking
to ensure jobs are being entered in the time sheet database correctly. Insure
all assigned daily tasks and ensuring projects are done correct and timely
fashion.
· Assist with problem
resolution, complete interfacing with the project managers and sales team.
· Final commission the
network, control system, power layouts, cloud interfaces, firmware updates, and
final code drops.
· Training the end
user(s)
· Insure final walk-through
and punch-list generations are complete in a timely fashion. Job complete forms
are being handed in with the appropriate boxes checked (I.E equipment clearly
labeled front and back, pictures taken and filed in the correct place in
Dropbox)
· Assist with training
new hires and mentoring installation staff
· Insure pre-wires are
properly done, terminated, and trimmed.
· Work with the Project
Manager to create and maintain a project schedule
· Attend select project
meetings, Kick off Meetings, and PIMs.
· Programming for: Control
4, Crestron D3, Crestron Pyng, along with basic Crestron knowledge is required.
· Uploading code and
firmware for the onsite or remote Crestron programmer
· Notify project
managers of schedule changes or potential causes of schedule impact.
· Familiarize yourself
with each project scope, drawings, and contract, gaining an overall knowledge
of the systems functionality and the terms of the contract
· Oversee the work of
the electrical contractor for lighting control during the installation of electrical
provisions required for the delivery of our systems. Ensure that the electrical
contractor’s
work is compliant with the standards set forth in the specifications and
engineering drawings.
· Coordinate with the
Project Manager for labor resource allocation, required tools, and required
rental equipment.
· Provide pertinent
information to the Office Administrator for progress billing and billing
information when a project is complete.
· Enforce Safety
Policies and Procedures and company Policy compliance.
Coordinate project commissioning with programming, sales, and operations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
The
following skills and abilities are essential for placement within Logic
Integration.
· Technical
Ability Required: minimum Tech level 2. Level 3 ideal for position
· Minimum
of 5 years AV systems field experience
· Clean
driving record Able to pass a simple back ground check and drug test
· High
School Diploma or Equivalent
· Must
be authorized to work full time in the United States
· Provide
normal hand tools according to list of required tools
Additional
Skills and Abilities:
Applicant
must be able to safely lift equipment weighing as much as 80 lbs. regularly.
Able to work comfortably on ladders, lifts and in high places as well as in
tight conditions such as crawl spaces, equipment closets, and cabinets. Must be
able to perform all tasks associated with the installation of Commercial Audio
and Video Equipment
· ICIA CTS or CTS-I a plus
· Some of the Brands
heavily used: Crestron, Control 4, Araknis, Pakedge, Luxal, Panamax, IC-
Realtime, WattBox, Sonance, Sony, Apple,
DoorBird, Ring, Luma Cameras and NVR’s, or other manufacturer training a plus.
