Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dietetics and physiology, along with exceptional leadership skills to manage a team effectively. This role involves developing and implementing care plans, ensuring nutritional needs are met for all residents, and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist Dietary Director in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring high standards of food service and nutrition.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to the dietary needs of residents.
- Assist with food preparing and cooking if needed.
- Help supervise and lead dietary staff, providing training and support to ensure adherence to best practices in nutrition and food safety.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess residents' nutritional status and recommend appropriate dietary interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address any dietary concerns or changes in resident health status.
- Maintain accurate records of dietary services, including meal planning, inventory management, and compliance documentation.
