Our client in South Dakota is actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 13-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts where you will serve as the sole provider in the ED, managing critical access cases ranging from minor injuries to intubations, and stabilizing patients for transfer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider in the Emergency Department.
- Perform rounding on patients within the ED.
- Stabilize patients for transfer to other facilities.
- Manage Critical Access ED cases.
- Handle a broad spectrum of cases, from minor injury repair up to intubation.
