We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for an impactful 13-day assignment in South Dakota, starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves providing sole coverage during 24hr shifts, focusing on rounding with patients in the ED and stabilizing them for potential transfer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider in the Emergency Department.
- Round on patients within the ED.
- Stabilize patients for transfer as needed.
- Manage a wide range of Critical Access ED cases, from minor injury repair to intubation.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
- Comfort with cases ranging from minor injury repair up to intubation is essential.
