Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA (locum tenens experience a plus)
- Current registered professional nurse license (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Willingness to obtain Pennsylvania CRNA license if not already held (licensure assistance available)
Responsibilities
- Perform pre?anesthesia assessments and develop individualized perioperative anesthesia plans
- Obtain and verify informed consent; discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative expectations with patients
- Induce, maintain, and manage emergence from anesthesia across a variety of surgical cases
- Monitor patients’ physiologic status, interpret data, and perform clinical interventions to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate closely with the anesthesia care team, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to deliver high?quality anesthesia care
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and the CRNA scope of practice
