Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunities
We are seeking two Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologists to join a hospital-based, outpatient practice on a locum tenens basis. This is an onsite opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule and ongoing coverage.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- End Date: Ongoing
- Setting: Onsite only (no remote reading)
- Call: None
Requirements:
- Active New York State medical license
- ABR (American Board of Radiology) certification
- BLS certification
Coverage & Support:
- Standard departmental physician coverage
- No APP coverage required
Patient Volume & Case Mix:
- Average 70–100 studies per day, depending on patient mix
- Radiology modalities include CT, Ultrasound (including OB), MRI, and Plain Films
- Case load may focus on a single modality on some days and a mixed case load on others
Systems & Technology:
- EMR: EPIC
- Imaging Systems: McKesson PACS
- Dictation: Nuance Powerscribe 360 Voice Recognition
