Position Overview:
We are seeking two Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologists for an outpatient hospital-based practice near Cooperstown, NY. This is an onsite locum tenens opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule, with ongoing coverage.
End Date: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: Onsite only (no remote reading)
Requirements:
- Active New York State medical license
- ABR (American Board of Radiology) certification
- BLS certification required
Coverage & Support:
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call: None
- APP Coverage: N/A
- Physician Coverage: Standard departmental coverage
Patient Volume & Case Mix:
- Average studies: 70–100 per day, depending on patient mix
- Radiology modalities: CT, Ultrasound (including OB), MRI, Plain Films
- Some days focus primarily on one modality, other days a mixed case load
Systems & Technology:
- EMR: EPIC
- Imaging Systems: McKesson PACS
- Dictation: Nuance Powerscribe 360 Voice Recognition
