Duties

- Support children's physical development through activities that promote motor skills, coordination, and overall health.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive behavior and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs.
- Incorporate literacy education and basic math concepts into daily activities to promote early learning foundations.
- Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and innovative teaching methods such as early intervention strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting, preferably with toddlers or preschool-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tools tailored for toddler care.
- Experience with special education needs and implementing inclusive teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports social-emotional growth and literacy education.
- Certification in early childhood education or related field is preferred; relevant coursework or training in Montessori methods is a plus.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures for early learners and experience tutoring or teaching physical education are advantageous.
