Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum that fosters literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles, sensory activities, and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to create a safe, respectful environment.
• Support toddler care routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring child welfare and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and promote consistent learning experiences both at school and home.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and program standards.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention practices.
• Proven experience in classroom management within preschool or daycare settings.
• Strong curriculum development skills with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, and physical education activities.
• Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, in a nurturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Familiarity with special education needs and strategies for inclusive classroom environments.
• Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational approaches is highly desirable.
• Competence in lesson planning that integrates standard curricula while fostering creativity and exploration.
