Construction Procurement Manager

A well-established construction management and contracting firm in Manhattan is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and sourcing across multiple projects. This role is about more than just negotiating pricing — it’s about building strong relationships not only with suppliers and vendors, but also with clients and owner representatives. The Procurement Manager will play a key role in anticipating material needs, keeping schedules on track, and ensuring smooth project execution. With several active projects at once, excellent time management and coordination skills are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, clients, and owner representatives.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to align with project and company goals.
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials and equipment arrive on time.
• Partner with project managers and operations teams to forecast needs and align purchasing with timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting.
• Track market trends to anticipate supply chain challenges and identify opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of procurement experience (construction industry strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated success in supplier, client, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with experience balancing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with procurement or project management software is a plus.
