What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at LMK Recruiting Solutions?
This is not a typical Operations Manager role.
Our client is hiring someone who wants to build, own, and grow — not just manage.
You’ll work directly with the CEO to build and scale their operational infrastructure in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment handling high-SKU products (phones, laptops, tablets).
This role is designed to grow into a Director of Operations within 12–24 months.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Own the Operation
- Run day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, QA, picking, packing, shipping)
- Ensure accuracy, speed, and a high-quality customer experience
- Solve problems before they become issues
Build & Improve Processes
- Create and document scalable workflows
- Implement Lean principles (5S, Standard Work, Kanban)
- Continuously improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput
Work with Systems & Tech
- Partner with internal teams to improve WMS/ERP systems
- Help optimize workflows, automation, and data flow
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology
Use Data to Drive Decisions
- Track KPIs: accuracy, throughput, cycle times, labor efficiency
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and improve performance
Support & Develop the Team
- Help lead a small, high-performing warehouse team (~10 people)
- Set expectations, create structure, and lead by example

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bonus if you have:
- Lean experience (5S, Standard Work, etc.)
- WMS/ERP exposure
- Experience working cross-functionally

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
