The office assistant will support the director, coordinators, instructors, and students in the effective implementation of Adult Education programs.This part-time, non-benefited position will be responsible for the following duties:General office and clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails/texts, and greeting studentsProvide admission and enrollment information to potential studentAccurately enter, update and manage student and program dataAssist with orientation sessions and proctoring assessmentsAssist with the planning and execution of departmental eventHelp connect students with internal and external resources that provide wrap-around support servicesOther duties as assignedPay will be $18.00 per hour. This position will provide support to staff, instructors, and students during evening hours from 4:30pm to 8:30pm on Monday and Wednesday. Funding for this position has been secured through September 30, 2026. Summer schedule may be fewer hours than the spring semester.
