Position Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a commercial litigation attorney to join their innovative brand protection enforcement team in Cincinnati. This unique, non-partnership track position focuses on protecting and growing companies' brand value through controlling unauthorized online sales. The role is ideal for attorneys who thrive in high-volume environments and have interest in intellectual property, internet law, and eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume caseload of brand protection litigation matters from demand letters through default judgments
• Handle communication with unauthorized sellers and prepare settlement agreements
• Conduct legal research and drafting on trademark-based legal theories and jurisdictional issues
• Review and analyze documents related to unauthorized sellers and product diversion
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to track case dockets and ensure efficient progression
• Support plaintiff-side litigation efforts in brand protection matters
• Provide excellent client service in fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio
• Minimum of three (3) years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience with legal research, motion practice, pleadings, and discovery
• Informal alternative dispute resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume caseloads effectively
• Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in intellectual property, internet, brand protection, or eCommerce law
• High-volume litigation practice experience
• Plaintiff-side litigation background
• Experience balancing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with online marketplace enforcement
