Position Overview
A respected national law firm is seeking a Health Care Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Cleveland office. This role involves representing health care providers, insurers, and related industry clients in complex litigation and regulatory disputes, with significant opportunities for client contact and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in health care litigation, regulatory matters, and compliance disputes
- Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and manage complex discovery and ESI
- Prepare cases for hearings, administrative proceedings, and trial
- Advise clients on HIPAA, state and federal audits, payor disputes, and ERISA matters
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on intersecting issues
- Maintain strong communication with clients while executing litigation strategies
- Participate in business development and firm marketing initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Ohio bar license (or ability to waive in/sit for exam)
- 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably with health care matters
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
