A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
- Map Creation
- Data Acquisition
- Data Storage
- Data Dissemination
- Database Entry
- Digital Deliverables
- Create cartographic products using established standards
- Utilize GIS tools and techniques to analyze, manage, and visualize data
- Degree in GIS or Geography
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Sit for extended periods of time working on computer
- The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
- Regularly required to sit and communicate (talk and hear).
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Required vision abilities include:
- Close vision to accurately input data and proofread materials.
