Assistant Store Manager (12pm-9pm)

• Lead and supervise store staff, including training, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishments, and coordinating purchasing activities to optimize product availability
• Assist with employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and scheduling to ensure a well-staffed and efficient team
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
• Support merchandising efforts by implementing visual displays, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative records to ensure smooth store functioning

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Proficiency in managing POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math for sales analysis and pricing strategies
• Experience with cash handling, cashiering, budgeting, and payroll processing
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently during shift management
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising, stock replenishment, and marketing strategies
• Previous experience in grocery or general retail stores is advantageous; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a bonus
• Ability to perform administrative duties such as bookkeeping and record keeping accurately
