- Lead and supervise store staff, including training, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishments, and coordinating purchasing activities to optimize product availability
- Assist with employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and scheduling to ensure a well-staffed and efficient team
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Support merchandising efforts by implementing visual displays, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative records to ensure smooth store functioning
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Proficiency in managing POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math for sales analysis and pricing strategies
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, budgeting, and payroll processing
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently during shift management
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising, stock replenishment, and marketing strategies
- Previous experience in grocery or general retail stores is advantageous; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a bonus
- Ability to perform administrative duties such as bookkeeping and record keeping accurately
