Livonia Public Schools employs approximately 1,800 staff members, serving approximately 13,100 students pre-K post secondary. There are 15 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 3 high schools, 1 career technical center, 1 early childhood center, and 1 vocational and transition center in the school district. The annual budget for Livonia Public Schools is $180 million, with a state funding of $10,000 per pupil.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
- Minimum of five years of successful elementary teaching experience across grade levels
- Demonstrated commitment to high levels of learning for all students
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and administrators as part of a team
- Experience using a variety of research-based intervention strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students
- Experience using student data and assessments (formal and informal) to inform instruction and monitor progress
- Experience implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, including delivering targeted interventions
- Demonstrated success in providing research-based academic and behavioral interventions
- Knowledge of and training in evidence-based instructional literacy practices
- Experience supporting students' social-emotional and behavioral needs through targeted interventions
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students to support growth and achievement
- Experience with progress monitoring tools and data analysis to adjust instruction and interventions
- Leadership experience and/or experience supporting colleagues through coaching, collaboration, or professional learning teams
- Champion the District's mission, vision, and collective commitments by placing students and their learning at the center of all decisions
- Support the principal and school team in advancing school improvement efforts and implementing district and building initiatives
- Serve as a leader in the implementation of the District's MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) framework, including developing a deep understanding of systems, expectations, and intervention practices
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, instructional staff, and Student Services to identify student needs and plan, coordinate, and deliver targeted academic and behavioral interventions
- Lead and support the preparation and facilitation of school-based data dives, including analyzing multiple data sources, guiding team discussions, and developing responsive intervention plans to improve student outcomes
- Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and progress monitoring, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions based on data
- Support the implementation and analysis of universal screeners, diagnostic assessments, and progress monitoring tools
- Actively participate in and contribute to professional learning teams (PLTs), Achievement Teams, and other student support teams (e.g., 504, health care plans), including providing leadership as appropriate
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students and contribute to a strong, collaborative school culture
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families; communicate student progress and support plans in a clear and timely manner
- Support the implementation of trauma-informed and responsive practices to meet students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintain professional growth through ongoing learning aligned to district priorities and student needs
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the principal
