Part-Time Personal Care Aide - Assisted Living - PM Shift 10:30 PM – 1 AM | $25 an hour

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide to join our – Assisted Living team. This is a 1-to-1 care position, where you will be assigned to support a single resident in our assisted living community, providing consistent and personalized care during each shift.

This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who values meaningful work and has experience in caregiving, personal care, or memory care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support in a calm, respectful manner
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with team members, nurses, and family members
• Support residents during mealtime and activity engagement

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is essential.
• Experience working in group homes or assisted living facilities is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for patient transfers and mobility assistance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions for patient care.
