We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregiver - CBRF Assisted Living Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong commitment to helping others, particularly in assisted living and memory care settings.
As a Med Passer, you will be responsible for administering medications accurately and timely, while also assisting residents with daily living activities to ensure their safety, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately administer medications in accordance with physicians’ orders and facility protocols.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date medication administration records (MARs).
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Observe, document, and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition.
- Support residents with mobility needs, including transfers and the use of Hoyer lifts when needed.
- Help with serving meals and assisting during mealtimes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide compassionate care to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or developmental disabilities.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Medication administration experience and familiarity with medication protocols required.
- Certification or training in medication administration (e.g., CMA or equivalent) is required.
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in residents’ conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically able to perform lifting, transfers, and other mobility assistance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach
