The Community Relations Manager for Living Innovations and Mosaic is the key driver of our mission in Southern Maine, responsible for significantly enhancing our community impact by building and cultivating essential, long-lasting relationships with charitable foundations, faith communities, and local organizations. This influential role requires proven experience and comfort with leading teams, volunteers, and interns, as well as the essential ability to strategically and confidently "ask" for the resources and partnerships needed to champion the independence of the individuals we serve.
Covering multiple offices in Southern Maine, this role requires regular travel and flexibility for evening and weekend events.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and execute a community awareness plan that involves building partnerships and sharing stories to support and advance Living Innovations and Mosaic’s mission.
- Build and execute targeted community awareness campaigns and develop strong donor relationships.
- Nurture donor relationships and solicit gifts and contributions
- Cultivate community and faith based related activities to enhance awareness and establish contacts throughout the local community.
- Collaborate with national office support teams to research, prepare and submit grant proposals and applications for funding

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Previous experience in education combined with proven presentation and relationship building skills.
- Previous experience with grant writing and volunteer management, preferred
- Must CURRENTLY be living in Southern Maine
- Valid state issued driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance
- The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies
