Living Innovations is looking for Community Relations Managers to join our Maine team! Living Innovations and Mosaic serve more than 5,200 people in 13 states and 750 communities. Services are tailored to meet individual needs and goals, supporting people to be as independent as possible. As the Community Relations Manager you’ll be responsible for enhancing relationships within the community, charitable foundations, and the faith community.
This will cover several offices in our Southern Maine region and will require regular travel. Generally, this job will work business days throughout the week however, evenings and weekends may be required based on agency events.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and execute a community awareness plan that involves building partnerships and sharing stories to support and advance Living Innovations and Mosaic’s mission.
- Build and execute targeted community awareness campaigns and develop strong donor relationships.
- Nurture donor relationships and solicit gifts and contributions
- Cultivate community and faith based related activities to enhance awareness and establish contacts throughout the local community.
- Collaborate with national office support teams to research, prepare and submit grant proposals and applications for funding

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Previous experience with grant writing and volunteer management, preferred
- Valid state issued driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance
- The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies
