Job Description: Worship pastor/Musical Director
(COMPENSATION: weekly stipend to start)
Overview:
We are seeking a devoted Christ follower to join our church and lead our worshipping community. This position will be responsible for leading our congregation to the presence of God in Worship (musically and spiritually). This role requires a strong commitment to God, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and educate others.
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate various church programs and services
- Create special seasonal/musical programs through out the year
- Participate in meetings, events, and committees within the church organization
Requirements:
- Holy Spirit driven
- musically proficient
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- ability to form worship team musically
Skills Nice-to-Have (but not necessary):
- Theological/Musical degree
