- Certifications: Oncology Certified Nurse (ONCC) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for those administering chemotherapy; APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months if working in pediatric oncology; ACLS necessary for ICU, ED, PACU, Endoscopy, Telemetry, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty areas; PALS for pediatric units, with a 30-day window for non-pediatric RNs; NRP for NICU, with a 30-day window for non-NICU RNs; Fetal Monitoring certification prior to completing orientation for L&D RNs; RN Fellowship requires ACLS and BLS; newly licensed RNs must obtain ACLS and PALS within six months.
