Role Overview:
Join a dynamic emergency nursing team as part of the W.E.S.T. Float Pool, providing expert care across multiple facilities. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, administering treatments, collaborating with healthcare professionals, responding to critical situations, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care in diverse settings
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Develop and implement patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams
- Respond effectively to emergencies and code situations
- Educate patients and families about care and discharge instructions
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards
- Minimum of 2 years recent ED RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Active RN license (state or Compact)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC or ATCN preferred
- Critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, ability to perform under pressure
