Role Overview:
Seeking a
Radiology Technologist
to perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including radiographs, portable exams, and occasional OR work. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, providing high-quality customer service, and working in various settings such as the ER and emergency departments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations independently and in on-call situations
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring clear communication
- Manage portable exams and assist with tasks assigned by the department
- Work with Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream imaging equipment
- Occasionally work in the Operating Room (OR)
- Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)))
- ARRT registration required; no experience necessary, but 2 years preferred
- Licenses: IEMA (Illinois), Radiology Technologist registration; CPR certification preferred
- Open to new grads, upcoming graduates, and experienced technologists
- Work four days per week, overnight shift (Monday-Thursday, 7pm-5:30am)
