Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. The nurse will promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and ensure safety and quality compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, communicating across care teams, and assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patient needs using critical nursing skills
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
- Participate in safety initiatives and professional development activities
- Develop and document care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Ensure communication of care plans across the continuum of care
- Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Licenses & Certifications: RN license required
