Role:
The
General Service Technician
performs basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and light vehicle maintenance. They assist with driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
Use multi-point inspections to document vehicle conditions, ensure shop safety, follow safety procedures, and work in a clean environment. Drive vehicles safely, obey traffic laws, and transport customers or parts as needed. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years old, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in varying environmental conditions. Good communication skills and vision are required. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
