Role Overview:
The ED Technician provides patient care under medical direction and supervision, supporting physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced emergency department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collects relevant clinical and psychosocial data within certification scope and reports findings to RN and ED attending.
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with physician orders, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Supports the organization’s mission of delivering excellent patient care and advancing nursing standards through patient advocacy and innovative practices.
- Current Paramedic certification in Florida and specialty certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
- Minimum one year of Paramedic experience; demonstrated skills in pre-hospital and critical care transport preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an approved Paramedic Program.
