We are seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing hemodialysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Monitoring and documenting patient data pre-, during-, and post-treatment, and adjusting care as needed.
- Providing education to patients and families about treatment options and health management.
- Administering medications, assisting with emergency responses, and ensuring safe delivery of therapy.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, supervising direct care staff, and participating in staff training.
- Ensuring proper laboratory procedures and updating patient care plans.
- Completing CAP requirements for advancement and performing additional duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state licensure.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience, with preferred experience in hemodialysis.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks in a healthcare environment.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical skills.
