Role:

Occupational Therapist in Home Health

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and evaluating patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and occupational therapy needs in accordance with state laws and the plan of care
• Providing evidence-based therapy services within scope of practice, collaborating with healthcare team members, and developing treatment plans
• Monitoring patient responses to treatment, documenting changes, and communicating findings to nurses and physicians
• Conducting assessments to determine functional ability using diagnostic tests
• Delivering care in diverse home environments, regardless of patient demographics
  
  

Qualifications and skills:

• Current occupational therapy licensure in the practicing state
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation
• Preferred: CPR certification, ability to handle multiple tasks independently, strong communication, organization, and writing skills
