- Provide comprehensive pulmonary and acute care, including admissions, assessments, and management of conditions like COPD, asthma, and respiratory failure.
- Manage noninvasive ventilation, tracheostomy care, and coordinate weaning plans with the team.
- Prescribe medications, interpret diagnostics, and monitor treatment responses to prevent decompensation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff, participate in rounds, and educate patients and families.
- Complete documentation, ensure compliance, and participate in initiatives to reduce hospital readmissions.
