Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizes patient wellness, and models proficiency through precepting new staff. Supports specialty education and competency validation with clinical educators.
Qualifications and Skills:
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, and at least 6 months of RN experience. BLS certification is mandatory. Preference for a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
