Role:
CT Tech I, with potential for advancement to CT Tech II based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes; perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures; acquire and analyze data for diagnosis and intervention; prepare and administer medications and radiation exposure per regulations; ensure patient identification, proper preparation, and documentation; optimize imaging protocols for safety and quality; evaluate images for correctness; assist with interventional procedures; educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment; knowledge of radiation safety principles (ALARA); proficiency in imaging protocols; ability to evaluate image quality; strong communication and patient care skills; experience with interventional procedures is a plus.
