What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Little Thinkers Preschool?
We are seeking a Toddler Teacher to join our team! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children 15 months- 2.9 years old in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.
- Create an engaging curriculum and follow through with lessons
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develope schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate with peers
- Follow checklist and complete tasks
- Help children through tasks such as meals, Potting etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching
- EEC Teachers certification
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $16 - $23
