Expected Hours: $18.50-$21 per hour

Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our toddler program with creativity, patience, and expertise. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth while ensuring a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that supports developmental milestones.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom that celebrates cultural diversity and accessibility.
- Build strong relationships with families through open communication and trust.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing standards and safety protocols.
- Mentor assistant teachers and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree with at least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and best practices in toddler care.
- Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards Certificate (preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to equity and inclusion.
