- Assist with menu planning by contributing ideas that enhance variety and nutritional value.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by following proper cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Handle food safely by adhering to food handling guidelines, safety standards in production, and food safety management practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, demonstrating knowledge of specialized meal requirements.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with kitchen staff and team members.
- Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments and food handling procedures.
