A small animal veterinary clinic in Hanover PA is seeking an experienced and pleasant customer service representative. The clinic promises excellent customer experiences and excellent care. The team is looking for another great team member to help with client communication via phones, scheduling appointments, and other clerical duties as needed.Minimum three years experience in a veterinary clinic/hospital is required. Exceptional customer service skills, pleasant voice, demeanor, and ability to remain professional and composed during stressful situations is required to ensure our clients receive a consistently excellent experience.Weekday only, hours between 8 am and 5 pm. Responsibilities:● Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments● Answer phone calls/texts and be of a ready resource for any questions asked● Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email● Schedule new patient and current patient appointments● Understand common medications and veterinary practices● Enter data into a computerized billing program● Accurately process credit card payments in person and over the phone● Retrieve prescriptions by following the veterinarian's orders● Assist with pet supply purchases such as pet food, supplements, and grooming items● Assist with inventory stock and reordering● Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room
