Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and watering to ensure healthy and attractive grounds
- Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements
- Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with system installation or repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools for landscaping projects while following safety procedures diligently
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe during inclement weather
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools required
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment such as excavators or tree trimmers is advantageous
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and hardscape installation enhances your candidacy
