Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times
- Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and cleaning up after activities
- Help with feeding, diapering, and basic hygiene routines for infants and toddlers
- Engage children in educational games, storytelling, arts and crafts to encourage creativity and learning
- Monitor children’s behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children’s progress and needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong understanding of infant care, toddler care, and early childhood education practices
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
