Speech-Language Pathology Assistants work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to help children develop communication and feeding skills. SLPAs play a key role in implementing therapy activities and supporting children as they progress toward their communication goals.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistants work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to help children develop communication and feeding skills. SLPAs play a key role in implementing therapy activities and supporting children as they progress toward their communication goals.
What You'll Do
- Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Lead engaging speech and language activities for children
- Monitor and report patient progress to supervising therapists
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation
- Support children during communication activities
- Collaborate with the therapy team to support patient development
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Active SLPA license or certification (or eligibility)
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Collaborative interdisciplinary therapy teams
