Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Support infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and developmental milestones
- Assist children with classroom routines, including transitions between activities and maintaining positive behavior
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, concerns, and daily updates effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Use behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions and emotional regulation
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom experience or daycare background demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while creating a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
