Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, nurturing, and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, maintains a safe and engaging classroom, and works well in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, and structured environment for children
- Implement age-appropriate activities based on curriculum (Creative Curriculum/Teaching Strategies)
- Supervise children at all times and maintain proper ratios per DCF guidelines
- Use positive guidance and redirection techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Complete daily reports, incident reports, and required documentation
- Follow all DCF rules, regulations, and center policies
Requirements:
- Must have completed DCF 45-hour training (or be actively working toward completion)
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Must pass Level 2 background screening
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule:
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Monday–Friday (no weekends)
