Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a Christian back drop and create a nurturing and stimulating loving environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role would be for the set hours of 11 to 5:30 daily, with an availability of working in the mornings as a substitute if needed. We open at 7:30am for reference.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Foster literacy education by introducing age-appropriate reading materials and activities that promote language development.
- Incorporate math concepts into daily activities to enhance children's understanding of numbers and problem-solving skills.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring for students who may need additional assistance in their learning journey.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, share insights, and address any concerns regarding their child's development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
Skills
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's behavior in a classroom setting.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus.
- Experience working in private school settings is advantageous.
- Proficiency in lesson planning that incorporates various subjects including math and literacy education.
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is recognized but we will train the perfect cadadite .
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports the emotional well-being of young children.
