What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Little Explorers Learning Academy?
We are hiring for a part time teaching assistant at our small, privately owned child care center. We work with children 3-5 years of age, focusing on social-emotional learning and academics through hands-on, play-based learning. Job duties include : assisting with classroom activities; leading small group lessons; interacting with parents; performing child care duties including toileting, behavior management, and instructional guidance; cleaning and disinfecting the building.
The right candidate will be creative, a self-starter, comfortable with leadership as needed, have open communication skills, flexible, outgoing, and dedicated to a long-term position. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm. Please note that our state license requires applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
