What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Room Assistant Teacher position at Little Explorers Learning Academy?
Summary: Responsible for managing individual care plans and group activities with children ranging in age between 6 weeks to 15 months while providing quality care and supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Engages in nurturing, positive, appropriate care and interactions with children.
· Leads group work and group activities with children.
· Meets and greets parents and children each day when they arrive and during departure.
· Focuses on the health and safety of children at all times.
· Creates a positive working relationship with parents and children.
· Communicates child and/or parent concerns to group supervisor in a timely manner.
· Provides consistent supervision with a focus on safety for the children at all times.
· Adheres to all established policies, procedures, and code of ethics.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All applicants must be able to obtain Act 33/34, FBI, and NSOR clearances, and complete a physical screening.
Education/Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma and one year of related experience with infant-aged children required. Infant/Toddler CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, human services, or a related field strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities: Compassion, patience, energetic, calm, nurturing, flexibility, willingness to learn.
